Senior trip

Why SIS should have senior trip?

SIS doesn’t have SIS official senior trip and we should have SIS senior trip. Senior trip is memorable. It’s part of SIS memory and we must have SIS senior trip. It’s biggest events to senior class. Also there are some people who want to go but then can’t afford money but then school support us of fun razing then it would help all people can go to senior trip. Last year there was three senior going to senior trip. It was not official to go. If our school have official senior trip then it’s going to work! Also senior trip teach team work because senior trip is going not by them self it’s like group trip and must have team work and it would teach them team work. Many students want to have SIS official senior trip because other school have their own trip and hope that our school have senior trip!

2010 Winter Olympic

2010 Winter Olympic
In 2010 we have Vancouver Olympic is going on at Canada. Opening ceremony was Febuary12 and this Olympic ends February 28. The Events are alpine skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, cross country curling, figure skating, free style skiing, ice hockey, luge, Nordic combined, short track, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboard, and speed skating. There are many category events Vancouver 210. This is international game and our school is international and we have different nationality people and hope that we cheer each other. Many people doesn’t interesting about Winter Olympic. Many countries competing each other. There are 82 National Olympic committees have entered teams in the 2010 Winter Olympics. These events are very interesting game especially interesting one is ski jumping. It’s like one compete person go up hill and it’s really high and compete person have to jump down to hill. It’s dangerous and it is not often watching this interesting event. One thing is sad about is Olympic doesn’t play on the television but we can check it out on you tube or news article. This is international game and I hope that SIS students get interesting on different category. It’s really cool that different countries competing each other and it’s fun to watch!!

Mock Trial Competition This Friday!

Mock Trial competition this Friday!

This week we have Mock Trial competition. We compete with different other schools. The competing people are Min Joo, Svahn, and Mil Lin is prosecutor attorney and Defense attorney are Andy and Shane. Witnesses are Shane, Joe, Josh, and Seohee. Witnesses have character. Shane is Steph Sablan she is wealth and she is bestket ball coach and she claims that she saw Harlyhofshnighter at the Jonothen Gorrero’s party in cabin. Joe is Dr. Nelson she is expert about the drug and explain it’s not from drug. Also Tenero Gorrero she is mother of Jonathan and she own spy kit store and she put cameras in her house and she claim that Harly was the one who try to sell drug to her son. Josh is Detective Jordan Cook. Detective was there for crime scene and also Harly hofshylighter claims that she wasn’t there at the party. Seo Hee is Alex Lee claim that didn’t see Harly. The story about crime scene is this. Jonathan is dead by drug or can be fire. Tenero Gorrero Jonathan’s mother claims that Harly sold drug and that made cause that Jonathan is dead. Dectective cook is expert of drug and he was at the secene. Steph and Alexlee is witness that Harly was there selling drug or not. The story is about this. Our SIS students put a lot of time and to compete this Friday. Also Mrs. Armstrong who is our mock trial coach Mr, Jewel, Mrs. Magan coach also helping us and Hope SIS students do there best this Friday!

Mr Tessen Interview about college

I Interviewed Mr. Tessen about college and university. He have teaching experience for 6years. His first experience teaching is at Muscatine Community College for 1year and he move to Saipan 2001 and he taught at NMA Northern Mariana Academy for 1year and then he went back to Wisconsin came back to Saipan 2004 or 2005. He don’t remember exact year he said it could be 2004 or 2005. He start to teach Saipan International school. He teach high school student. He teach Health, Geography , AP American world history, World history, AP Ancient history, Junior seminar. He is the team leader in Saipan International School and also he is counselor.

When he help students are apply to college in the United State. His job is researching the school and helping student research school. He have thing that have to complete in order to help send students to United States. He have to write all recommendation and he have to read all the essay research about college. I asked him that is there any mistake during helping send students to college and he said He trust student too much and believe what they tell him. I asked him about how should Junior and Seniors prepare for college? He said they need to find about colleges and get prepare for SAT , Tofel and read books. I asked him did you ever fail when sending a students to a college or University? He said yes one little schmo lie to him year along. I ask him opinion what university is the best and he stated that University Wisconsin Madison.

Lastly I asked that what advice do you want to give to the senior before they go to a college or University and he said make sue u comfortable with school.
